Junior Lotus Racing now emerges 5th out of 13 teams vying for the coveted World Series by Renaullt Formula 3.5 Champion Team title, after its drivers Daniil Move and Nelson Panciatici chalked up more points during Race 2 in Round 1 of the Series, at the Ciudad del Motor de Aragon (Motorland Aragon Circuit) today.

Move, who begun the race from 18th position, fought his way down the grid to finish the race in 7th place,  while Panciatici managed to climb up 2 spots, beginning the race in 11th, to end the race in 9th position. With that, both drivers garnered a total of 6 points to add to the 8 points collected during Race 1 yesterday, ending a great weekend indeed with 14 points firmly secured.

Both drivers successfully completed Race 1 and Race 2 without any unfortunate incidences, despite harsh weather conditions, marking significant successes in their first debut under the auspices of Junior Lotus Racing.  The road ahead now seems brighter for the team, as each member begins to gel well and starts accomplishing better understanding of the nature of successful teamwork.

In less than 2 weeks, the 2010 World Series by Renault Championship will resume for Round 2 in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, as the teams will compete again for top billing on the 1st and 2nd of May 2010. Junior Lotus Racing looks forward to securing podium finishes and garnering more points with the dynamic duo of Daniil Move and Nelson Panciatici at the helm of their race machines.
